Expert Witness & Conclave / Joint Report – Building – Engineering – Town Planning

Half day booking – minimum charge $3,960 Plus GST
This allows for a total investment of 4 hours of our time which includes
– 1 hour prep work to review all documents prior to set date,
– 2 hours travel to and from court room or site,
– 1 hour within the courtrooms / conclave meeting.
– Special Note, half day attendance for court matters as an expert does not include any written reports pre or post hearing dates.

Full day booking – minimum charge $7,920 Plus GST
This allows for a total investment 8 hours of our time which includes
– 2 hour prep work to review all documents prior to set date,
– 2 hours travel to and from court room or site
– 4 hours within the courtrooms / conclave meeting.
– Special Note, full day attendance for court matters as an expert does not include any written reports pre or post hearing dates.

SPECIAL NOTE For all conclave and joint reports, the hours required to prepare the written report will be charged out on an hourly rate of $495 + GST once the full day or half day attendance within the conclave is complete, as outlined above has been completed.

NOTE 1 Within the above rates, we have allowed, for the following;

• Review of all earlier prepared and submitted documents from our office.
• Review of all documents on file from the applicant or defendant.
• All travel or parking expenses.

This does not include any printing of documents for the case.

NOTE 2 There is a minimum increment of 4 hours’ worth of our time applied to any orders and should the original time allotment be exceeded, a further 4 hours shall be applicable to the final account. For example, if you have been quoted, invoiced and paid for 4 hours ($3,960 plus GST), and the final time required comes to 5 hours, your final account will be for a total of 8 hours ($7,920 plus GST).

NOTE 3 All cancelled/postponed/adjourned hearing dates have a 50% fee applicable should our office be notified with more than 7 days from the hearing date. Should the cancellation of the order be received by our office with less than 7 days’ notice from the hearing date a 100% fee is applicable, and no refund will be applied.

NOTE 4 All cancellations must be received via email between Monday to Friday between 7AM and 5PM.

NOTE 5 Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been made in full prior to our attendance.
