Your agent has booked an inspection and report on your behalf for your property.  They have selected our TPI Special, under this option the below Terms & Conditions are applicable, which you must agree to prior to our office proceeding with the inspection and our report.  Please read the below Terms & Conditions and reply to this email approving our office to proceed with the order. 

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS of our TPI SPECIAL 

  1. The Vendor is invoiced and your card charged for $1.00 for the service at the time of the inspection as a pre-authorization fee which is later refunded to your card. 
  2. The Vendor does not receive a copy of the report. 
  3. Buyers can download the report from the TPI website free of charge during the sales campaign.  When a buyer downloads the report, they agree to pay for the report in full if they are the final buyer of the property. 
  4. If the property is sold within 8 weeks of the initial order being taken, and that buyer has: 
    1. Downloaded a copy of the report, they pay for the report.  The vendor/s obtain our service free of charge; or 
    2. Not downloaded a copy of the report during the sales campaign/pre-exchange of contract, the vendor/s must pay for the report, being $550.00 + GST. 
  5. If the property is not sold within 8 weeks of the initial order being taken, the vendor/s must pay $550.00 + GST, regardless of if we do secure the final buyer after the 8th week of the initial date of the order being taken. 

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 1 

Under this option, should TPI be successful in capturing the final buyer of the property within 8 weeks of the date of attached invoice, you will NOT be liable for any payment of our service. 

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 2 

Under this option, should TPI not be successful in capturing the final buyer within 8 weeks, or if the property is not sold within 8 weeks, from the date of the attached invoice, you will be liable to pay an amount of $550.00 + GST regardless of whether the property is later sold or regardless of whether TPI secures the final buyer, or not, later in the sales campaign, i.e. after 8 weeks (NB: No extensions are granted). 

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 3 

On some occasions we are paid twice, once by the vendor/s if the property is not sold within 8 weeks; and secondly if we then secure the final buyer beyond 8 weeks of the initial date of order; resulting in TPI being paid twice. 

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 4 

Under normal circumstances the vendors and agents do not get a copy of the report.  

Should the agent/vendor request a copy of the report within the 8-week period, the vendor will be billed for the report in full at the time of the report being released or request being received, this being;
$699.00 + GST for a copy of the Building & Pest report,
$100 for Plumbing Assessment 

$100 for Electrical Assessment 

$100 for Asbestos Assessment 

$100 for Pool Condition Assessment 

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 5 

If the property is not sold or is withdrawn or if we do not secure the final buyer within 8 weeks and the vendor pays the reduced sum of $550 + GST for the service, the report is NOT released to the vendor.
If we secure the final buyer post receiving the payment from the vendor, the report can be then released to the vendor once the final buyer has paid for the report.
